C# Software Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and dedicated C# Software Engineer with a primary focus on .NET 4.8. This role will work to help maintain and improve upon our existing Windows applications for our proprietary radiology system, StatPACS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#, WinForms, WebForms and Windows Services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of a critical healthcare platform, ensuring a seamless user experience for both internal and external users of the product.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET 4.8.
- Create and manage WinForms and WebForms applications.
- Develop and maintain Windows Services.
- Work with SQL Server to design and optimize databases.
- Collaborate with the development team using Git for version control.
- Utilize Visual Studio for development and debugging.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Job Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience as a C# developer with a strong understanding of .NET 4.8.
- Proficiency in WinForms, WebForms, and Windows Services.
- Experience with SQL Server and database design.
- Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Proficiency in Visual Studio.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
- Experience utilizing/integrating DevExpress a big plus.
Work Location and Conditions
- Corporate office in San Diego. Optional Hybrid Model, 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, with manager approval.
- Job Type: Full-time; Exempt or Non-Exempt.
Required Trainings
- Internal Regulatory and Quality System training required for Development.
Salary Pay Range:
- $95,000 – $125,000 per year
- The stated pay scale has been implemented to reward employees fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of employees’ career progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility. It reflects the range that StatRad reasonably expects to pay for this position at various levels of experience. The actual pay rate for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s relevant experience, unique skills and abilities, education, market demand, and employer business practices, and will be discussed at the offer stage with the selected candidate.
