Fast, free set up
In less than one week and at no cost to you, StatRad installs all on-site equipment necessary to ensure rapid, secure transmission of studies between your facility and our data center. Hospitals need only use the technology they have in place, such as any DICOM-compliant system and a high-speed connection to the Internet. StatRad provides the hospital with written instructions for our online system and will also train hospital personnel by phone.

Flexible reporting
To assist with JCAHO surveys, StatRad clients have online access to quality assurance information. You can monitor StatRad performance and compare your own performance with other hospitals. Clients can opt to receive reports via fax, review reports online, or both.

StatRad workflow
When a patient is scanned, the images are sent to our local server at the hospital. The information is encrypted and forwarded to StatRad through our highly reliable network.

• Technologists fill out an online requisition with patient and study information, which is sent to StatRad’s proprietary workflow system.
• StatRad reviews each study, verifies patient information, transmission completeness, and availability of prior reports, and contacts the hospital if anything appears to be missing. This proactive approach ensures rapid turnaround times.
• Multiple physicians affiliated with your hospital are always available, reducing the study’s time in the queue.
• Reports are dictated, automatically routed back to the hospital, and available online (or faxed).
• Radiologists call in all significant positive studies, ensuring physician-to-physician communication of critical values as required by the Joint Commission.
• Radiologists are always available to answer questions and address concerns about the patient.
